About GHK-CU

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring tripeptide, glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, that binds copper(II) ions. It was first identified in human blood plasma in the 1970s and has since been detected in other body fluids.

Research background

It is widely used in laboratory studies of skin biology, extracellular-matrix remodelling and gene-expression profiling, mostly in cell culture and animal models, and features in cosmetic-science research on copper-peptide complexes.
